Superheroes were once believed to be the stuff of fiction. Governments around the world have been covering up the existence of "mutants" or "metas" for centuries with comics, movies, and conspiracy theories. Metas have been around for thousands of years and have their own culture and their code to keep their secret, secret.
Everything changed on April 15th 2012, when the world was finally told the truth about metas. Since then, metas or as the humans call them "mutants" have been met with fear, hatred, idolization, and awe. Superheroes and villains are finally able to come out into the light. It has been nearly 2 years since metas "came out from behind the cape." They have been met with fear, hatred, around idolization. This is a world where the heroes and villains are no longer just in movies or in the pages of comics, but you can see them flying down central avenue.
